Taz Lake, MBA, PMP
Mr. Lake brings valuable insights to the management of technology particularly as they relate to knowledge management, information architecture, interface design, and application design and integration. Mr. Lake has worked with various customers ranging from small businesses and start-ups to publicly traded corporations. He has provided guidance, implementation and operational support for various web-based and knowledge management initiatives including search engines, unified document management platforms, web analytics, information re-architecture, business process management, web site design, system integration and Intranet tool development.
Most recently he served as a Technical Project Manager at Definition 6. Prior to working at Definition 6 he was Managing Consultant for Neuthink overseeing the operational aspects of the business while ensuring delivery of exceptional experiences to clients and their customers. Prior to Neuthink, he was the Sr. Web Developer at ARRIS for five years leading all Intranet development and maintenance activities. Prior to that, he served as an Interface Developer for Intellimedia Commerce where he worked on a team assisting both startup and established clients with their web development needs. Before joining Intellimedia, Taz held a lead interface development role for a divisional Intranet at MCI as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Multimedia department at the Art Institute of Atlanta. He has also held consulting positions at UPS and Vanstar.
Mr. Lake is a frequent advisor to his contemporaries on Internet-centric technologies. He has been a speaker at “lunch and learns” for various companies. He holds a MBA in Computer Information Systems from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. He also holds a MA in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing in Communications and Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College Graduate School and a BA in Chemistry from Duke University from where he also holds an Interdisciplinary Certificate in the Arts. He is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), CIW Professional, Master CIW Designer, Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Taz is married to Adeline and has a daughter, Annika.
